MGI is the international database resource for the laboratory mouse, providing integrated genetic, genomic, and biological data to facilitate the study of human health and disease. We link to the most recent instance of the MGI database to access phenotypic information related to genetic aberrations in the mouse genome.

In addition to providing the high-level phenotype data associated with a gene, we also currently provide indicator (0 / 1) values to reflect whether a gene is known to cause lethality (1) or not (0) in mice. We perform the same for mouse seizure phenotypes. The corresponding gene lists are generally helpful for gene-list enrichment studies; however, accepting that there may be some small degree of misclassification among the final MGI lists.
